Food bracket: pick your favorite food

Keep choosing the dish you would rather eat until a single champion is left. It also works for settling tonight's dinner.

Images stay on this device and are never uploaded. They are not saved either, so add them again after a reload.

How to play

  1. Choose a list: all foods (32), lunch, late-night, desserts or world foods. The 32-dish list is loaded to start.
  2. Press Start and the matchups are drawn at random. Click or tap the dish you would rather eat. On a keyboard, use the left and right arrow keys or 1 and 2.
  3. A bracket of 32 takes 31 picks and a bracket of 16 takes 15. At the end you can review the full bracket and save or share a result card.

Use your own food list

Delete or add dishes in the list box, one per line. Put an emoji and a space in front of a name and it is shown large in each matchup. Want to compare photos? Add image options. Images never leave this device.

Ways to play

  • Plan a group meal: everyone plays and you compare champions.
  • Challenge a friend: the share link carries your list, so friends can play the same dishes.
  • Want a single quick pick instead? Try the food wheel.
  • For other topics such as places or movies, build your own in the bracket maker.

The dishes are common, generic names chosen by SpinPick and are not linked to any brand. The pictures are emoji drawn by your device's font, so they look a little different on each device. Matchups are shuffled with your browser's crypto.getRandomValues.

FAQ

How many picks does it take?
Each matchup knocks out one dish, so you make one fewer pick than there are dishes: 31 for 32, 15 for 16.
Can I change the dishes?
Yes. Edit the list box. You can use 4 to 64 dishes; if there are fewer than the bracket size, byes fill the gaps.
Can I stop and continue later?
Yes. Progress is saved in this browser, so you can pick up where you left off. It is stored separately from the bracket maker.
